Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival - Transfer to Ooty (Approx - 3 hours drive)

Arrive at Coimbatore airport and proceed to Ooty.
Check-in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, explore the local market or take a walk by Ooty Lake.
Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 2 Ooty local sight seeing

After breakfast, visit the following depending upon the availability of time :
- Botanical Garden
- Doddabetta peak
- Tea factory / Chocolate Factory
- Rose garden
- Boat House
- Karnataka Garden
- Tea Garden
- Shooting point
- Pine forest
Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 3 Ooty to Coonor and back

After Breakfast, proceed to Coonoor and visit the following
- Sim's Park
- Sleeping Lady View Point
- Dolphin Nose Point
- Tea Garden
- Lamb's Rock
- After reaching back to hotel, explore the markets.
- If any points are left out on Day-2, you can cover them today.
- Optional: Take the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train) from Ooty to Coonoor or Coonoor to Ooty for a memorable ride. Tickets need to be booked from the IRCTC site or Rail-Reservation counter.
Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 4 Ooty to Mysore (Approx 3-4 hours drive)

After Breakfast, proceed to Mysore. The following are the places which we can visit depending upon the availability of time.
- Mysore Zoo
- Mysore Palace
- Jagan Mohan Palace
- Rail Museum
- Vrindavan Garden (in the evening for musical fountain show).
- Light and sound show at Mysore palace in the evening (if time permits)
- St Philomena's cathedral
- Chamundi Hills (Goddess Chamundeshwari temple) and Big Bull.
- Aquarium
Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 5 Mysore to Coorg via Srirangapatna (Approx 4 hrs drive + time for Sight-seeing)

After breakfast, we proceed to Srirangapatna and visit the following
- Ranganathaswamy temple - Nominated as a UNESCO Heritage site.
- Daria Daulat Bagh - Tipu's Summer Palace
- Gumbaz (Mausoleum of Tipu and his parents).
- Jama Masjid
Later, proceed to Coorg and visit the following.
- Bylakuppe (Namdroling monastery also called the golden temple) - Largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet
- Nisargadhama (2-3 hrs time can be spent here) (An island known for its lush greenery, bamboo groves and deer park. You can walk on the hanging bridge, feed birds, do boating, zip lining and other fun activities (separate costs for each activity).
- Chklihole Reservoir.
- Check into a hotel and explore the local market.
Overnight stay in Coorg.

Day 6 Coorg Sight-seeing

After breakfast, we visit the following depending upon the availability of time.
- Raja's seat - Gives a very good view of Coorg
- Abbey Falls
- Madikeri Fort
- Omkareshwar temple
- Dubare Elephant Camp (at extra cost)
  - (A must visit for kids.
  - If boating is not available, the river needs to be crossed on foot by holding your shoes in hands and rolling up your pants.
  - Timings are 4-5.30 pm and 9-11 am approx.
  - You can feed the elephants, bathe them and interact with them (extra charges for these activities.
  - Rafting is also possible here.
- Plantation tour (Learn about coffee plants and other spices)
- Glass Bridge (Approx Rs 200 per person, with a long queue and time allowed on bridge is only 10-15 mins approx).
- If time permits, you can visit Talakaveri and Bhagamandala.
- Optional Early in the morning, you can go to Mandalpatti peak (at extra cost). It is not recommended to senior citizens, very young kids and those with back pains. It is an off-road safari, so only local jeep goes there.Road will be too bumpy, you can watch the sunrise here.Last stretch requires a short trek to the peak.
Overnight stay in Coorg.

Day 7 Coorg to Bangalore

After breakfast, proceed to Bangalore and drop at the airport.
Tour ends here with sweet memories.
